As a private Christian college, ACC receives no government funds for operation and must, therefore, depend solely upon the contributions of churches and individuals for its existence.

The beautiful, 40 acre campus rests in a lovely section of East Point, Georgia. Over the past few years, ACC has been accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (just like the University of Georgia). The degree offerings have been enhanced to involve not only Ministry degrees, but also degrees in Business, Education, Human Relations and Nursing. To keep up with growth in the student population, plans are underway to fund and build a beautiful Student Center. The primary function of ACC has been from its founding days the preparation of young people for ministry.

In addition to the children's home, Christian City provides retirement facilities for Christian people, a nursing home, convalescent center, apartment complexes for those in need, and has plans for a hospital on campus.
